The Edlands opener has a secure remote control set to 868 Mhz, with self-adjusting power limitation and data storage in the microprocessor, an emergency release with a power loss, a flat cable system for fast assembly, power saving link for minimal energy consumption (only 4 watts in standby mode) and an extra electronic opening control for a closed door.

In addition to these standard features, you can buy various extra equipment, including, key switches that mount on the garage wall, emergency releasers, key fobs, impulse switches and wireless code keyboards.

Security

However you do not install an Edlands door opener just for ”leisure”. A different and very weighty argument is the security aspect. When the Edlands door opener is mounted on the garage door, the door is locked. And if someone tries to break open the door, the motor stops the door opener. This and stops unwanted guests from entering.
